The "Harry Potter" heroine turns 19 today!

She wrote on her official website, "Hey everyone, It looks like my Birthday’s snuck up on me… I sooo don’t want to be 19! I can’t believe another year has gone by, so much has happened! I really can’t believe I’ll be at University in September. Still haven’t decided where to go, it just doesn’t seem real. When I do decide you will hear it here first! Just a quiet one this year, though. As you know everything is so busy with my filming schedule. I’m really looking forward to a home cooked dinner with my family tonight! Thank you all for my Birthday wishes! Love Em x x"

Good news for all "Harry Potter" fans - the release date for "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" has been moved up by two days to Wednesday, July 15!

Emma Watson: Stripped Dress Sweetheart

The 18-year-old Harry Potter actress keeps it cool in a French Connection striped dress as she enjoys a night out in London on Friday night (April 10).

In the news, she reportedly has been approached by environmental campaign group Greenpeace.

A spokesman for Greenpeace stated that Emma would be perfect as an ambassador for the organization. He shared, “Emma would be perfect for us. She’s posh, pretty, brainy and committed. She’s also not too star struck to care if it’s seen as vaguely controversial. She would really help.”
